Jourdan Lewis is a third-year cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys. Lewis was drafted in 2017 with the 92nd overall pick in the third round out of The University of Michigan. In this episode of Current Cowboy Shorts, Jourdan sits with Brady to explain how a unique bond with his family helped get him to the NFL.
Growing up in Detroit, Lewis’s love for the game of football began at an elementary age. The love and support of his family took Lewis from Cass Technical High School all the way to The University of Michigan. During his senior season, Lewis was named a first-team All American cornerback. Coming into his third season with the Dallas Cowboys, Lewis has proven himself a formidable member of a young and talented secondary unit, and will continue to thrive under Defensive Coordinator Rod Marinelli, and Defensive Backs Coach Kris Richard.
