Cory Procter – Cowboys Rookie Dinner
Cory Procter is a former offensive guard for The Dallas Cowboys. Procter was picked up by Dallas in 2005, and served his tenure with the team during the Tony Romo era. In this episode, Cory sits with Brady to discuss a long-heralded tradition in the NFL, the rookie dinner. This particular rookie dinner features another former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Doug Free, and an evening that perfectly illustrates the spirit and camaraderie of an NFL offensive line.
Professional football players are generally big men with even bigger appetites, and a rookie dinner at one of the finest steakhouses in town allows them an opportunity to bond off the gridiron. Cory gives us insight into how this unique dinner, or initiation some could say, unfolded with some mentions of other former and current Cowboys greats.
